Michael Rosenblum, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education

Dr. Rosenblum received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) where he graduated in the top 15 percentile. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia where he graduated with distinction. In between his undergraduate training and medical training, Dr. Rosenblum spent a year doing state of the art genetic research at the University of San Francisco, California. Dr. Rosenblum completed his internal medicine and residency training in New York at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. From 2007-2010 Dr Rosenblum returned to Charleston to complete his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is level II certified in cardiac catherization, CT coronary angiography and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Rosenblum is level III certified in echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography. During his time at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Rosenblum co-published multiple papers in novel uses of CT angiography. Dr. Rosenblum is also one of the few cardiologists in the state who is trained in radial (wrist) heart catherizations. Performing the catherizations through the wrist enhances patient comfort and eliminates the need for laying flat or bed rest after the catherization.

Dr. Rosenblum began serving in 2011 on the Medical Executive Committee at Conway Medical Center.

Personal

Dr. Rosenblum was born and raised in the South Carolina low country and is eager to give back to the community that was so good and inspirational to him growing up. He is an avid fisherman and is excited to explore the waterways in the grand strand area. Dr. Rosenblum spends his free time playing tennis, cooking and traveling.
